What are we up to???

LOTS OF SNOW! The kids are loving it! Over the course of a couple days we had lots of snow fall. It was the good, packing kind that is great to build snowmen. Here are some pictures of the snow adventures!

Halloween

It was so nice that Halloween was on Saturday this year! Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner and trick-or-treating fun. Their costumes were great!! We love them!

Here are the kids (minus Alex who didn't want his picture taken) with Grandpa right before trick-or-treating.
Logan changed his mind at the last minute and didn't want to be Scooby Doo. He wanted to be Darth Vader. Grandpa let him wear his costume. He actually wore the mask to some of the houses. Then, it was just too hard to run with it on!

I got one of Alex. He wasn't pleased and he didn't even wear his hat!

The kids are ready to go!!

They all had a great time. Hannah went with her 2 friends who were witches as well. She trick-or-treated for nearly 2 hours. That is the longest she has ever gone! Jacob didn't last too long. Logan didn't want to stop and Alex eventually got the hang of it after about 10 houses. It was so cute to see them running up the door, saying "trick or treat" and then thank you, of course. Then running to the next house while trying to eat the candy they just got! It was lots of fun!

October is a great month!

I love October! These first few pictures are of the monthly birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa's house. There are 4! Ella is 1, Caleb turned 5, mine (???), and my dad turned 60 this year! I loved my lemon pie!!!!!

Dad's fabulous cake!

Logan wanted to open all the presents himself.
Here's my birthday dinner. The kids decorated with streamers and signs. We had birthday hats and it was a great time!!
I took the kids to Garner Village to look at the witches. It was a nice day. It was fun to have grandma come with us.

For Fall break from school, we took the kids to Cornbelly's. FUN FUN FUN!!!
The bouncing pillows! We were the only one on them for a while.

The cow train--only Jacob and Logan rode it!

The go carts.

The corn maze--we didn't get too lost!

I love how Alex has his hands in his pockets!

The water pumps--Logan loved this!

Logan roping cattle!

Pumpkin carving FHE

The boys thought the insides were too gross to touch!

Hannah's was a witch.

Jacob's was a werewolf.

This is Hannah's teacher in the parade at school. He was Dumbledore from Harry Potter

Hannah and her friend, Sara, are both witches.

Jacob's teacher was a red crayon.

Summer Recap 4--FAMILY TIME!

Well, this is a long one--sorry--sit back and relax!
We had an Easter egg hunt at grandma's and grandpa's house. Aunt Lindsay and Calvin were there. Everyone had a great time.

All the kids and their loot!

Here are the kids at our house on Easter morning.

Yes, Jacob is wearing purple pajama pants--he is a funny kid!

This is the only picture I could get with all 4 of the kids at the same time. Logan did NOT want his picture taken today!

Happy Mother's day to me! Yes, it was one of those days--I am still grateful to be mother--some days are just harder than others!

Memorial day weekend at the cabin. The kids loved it!

Fun at the tepee.

Hiking!

Logan and his walking stick.

Alex and his.

Logan always wants to help!

Alex loved looking for deer and moose with the binoculars.

Smore's time!

This year for our family vacation, we decided to stay closer to home. It was great fun. First, we stayed the night at Grandma's house in Kaysville. The kids wanted to sleep out in a tent. Grandma's house is perfect for that. Then we went to the air show at Hill Air Force Base. Logan had the best time I think! He wanted to get into EVERY airplane. It was a nice day and we had a good time.

The Thunderbirds!

Next, we headed to the cabin and rented an ATV. Once again, I think Logan loved it the most. He got to go on rides around the fire pit. He was in heaven. Everyone had a great time. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. It rained for the next month, I think! UGGH--it put a damper on the rest of our trip.

All the kids! Look at Logan's face!!!

We next went to the Hogle Zoo.

The merry-go-round was a big hit!

Logan!

We had Grandpa Cory over for Father's Day. We love our dads!!!

Our yummy dessert!

At the last minute, we decided to go down to Gilbert, Arizona for Mason's baby blessing. It was a short trip, but lots of fun! It was great to see Lindsay, Russell, Calvin, Heather, Max, and Ezra. Grandma and Grandpa were there too!

Waterpark fun--a must in that heat. Here's Heather and Ezra.

Logan

Alex

We celebrated the 4th of July there.

It was really hot!

Jacob and Alex at the Mesa Temple.

Because of the weather in June, we decided to finish our family vacation when the weather was better. Here we are at the Gateway fountains.

Logan loved this as well!

We got the fire pit out only once this summer. The smore's were great!

The last part of our "family vacation" was a trip to Lagoon. It was fun to got with Aunt Heather, Max, and Ezra. If you notice, Logan wanted and did ride on just about everthing he could. Alex, on the other hand, was much more cautious. He has the same face in every picture--except the cars--which he absolutely loved. It was great that there weren't very many people at Lagoon that day--he drove them over and over and over.....

Bulgy the Whale

See-nice face Alex--he didn't ride!

Hannah, Jacob and Dad on the Dragon

Boats

Even the merry-go-round!

Max

No Alex!

Hannah and Alex

He was always wanting to go until he was buckled in--of course!

Could that be a smile? Yes, but he still didn't ride!

Max!

The skyride

We took the kids to the farm at Thanksgiving point while Heather was still here. Grandma and Grandpa came too.

Hannah is not too sure about this horse riding business!

Hahahahaha!

We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. We are in front of the picture that my brother painted for the temple. He did a fabulous job--he is so talented!!!

Yes, it was windy!

Yeah--I'm done with the summer! It was really fun and jampacked with activities! Well, it's snowing right this minute and now I can't wait until summer again! HAHA!
