1. If there are more than one light switch for the same light, I have to have them coordinated. If it's on, it's up, etc. It gets really tricky with three light switches.

2. I have to sleep with a pillow between my knees.

3. I have to have the lights on when watching a movie at home--no movie theater atmosphere.

4. I feel very lost without my watch.

5. I always walk really fast--I started this in college--faster I walk, later I had to leave (especially for 8 am classes!)

6. It really bugs me when we sing hymns too slowly in church.

I now tag: Shannon, Jana, Janaye, Deb, Leslie, and Kelli

Memorable Day!

Yesterday, Sunday, the 21st, was the 1st day of Nursery for the babies! YEAH!!! We have been looking forward to this day for quite some time now. As predicted, Logan went right in and started playing. Alex, on the other hand, was not pleased with all the strangers and cried for the first 10 minutes. He finally started playing, but when it was time to clean up...the crying started again. He needed his diaper changed, so they brought him to me. Of course, he wasn't thrilled when I started to take him back. Rich finally took him back and he stayed. It's nice to have little windows in the door. I checked to see Logan and Alex coloring at the table and then having their snack. We're going to have to work on drinking out of Dixie cups! (Too squishable!!!) Anyways, needless to say, he was more than excited to see me at the end of the meeting, but waved goodbye to his teachers--with a small tear in his eye. Logan loved it. Alex will love it soon! AAAHHH...another milestone!

Nursery Day!

Isn't the artwork great! Logan's is a bit light, Alex went all out!

Window wells!

Hiding places!

I cannot turn my back (or go upstairs to get my shoes) for one second:

Yes, all the salt and pepper!
Don't they look so proud!

Utah State Fair

We had our annual trip to the State Fair on the 8th. We love to go on Mondays because they have the All-You-Can Eat Ice Cream tent. Yummy!!!! We always have tons of fun, eat lots of good things, and see many stinky animals. Great fun!!! Enjoy the pictures!

This was Logan's favorite part!

Alex loved carrying the basket!

Our Future Farmers of America

Can you see Logan holding tightly to his fruit snacks? That is what he bought with the "money" he earned working on the farm!

Bird Adventure

Last Sunday, we were heading out of the garage and a hummingbird flew in. The funny thing was, it couldn't figure out how to get back out. Our garage is quite tall and it kept flying up above the opened garage door. We spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get it out. We eventually gave up and had to leave. So, we closed the garage door. When we returned, it took almost another 30 minutes getting it out. We tried just about everything. Hannah kept trying to lure it down with flowers and leaves. At one point she even had a picture of a flower, hoping that would entice the bird to come down!! We ended up using a broom--one that looked like sticks or nest maybe. It took a few times, but we eventually lured it onto the end of the broom and helped it to the garage door opening. It was the most amazing thing to see how fast the wings moved. It stopped many times on different things that were hanging from the garage ceiling. A few times we could even see it's tiny tongue. I did get some pictures of it when it stopped to rest. The kids thought it was so cool!!! What an interesting adventure!

This picture is a bit fuzzy, but you can see the long beak!

Lunch Group Friends

Saturday, the 6th, we got together in Fruit Heights with our lunch group! We had a great time eating, visiting and playing. Here are some of the kids. Hannah is sitting on the hill with Logan walking to her.

Logan and Labrina Lether

More pictures of the kids. Logan running and Jacob in the right corner.

We started getting together for lunch 5 years ago. Here is a picture from our very first meeting. We met at Stephanie's house in South Ogden. Look how young our kids look. We only had 7 kids between us. Hannah's in the blue sweater in the front.

Here we are now. Our families have grown!!!! Now there are 22 (23 next Friday)kids!!!

Here we are: me, Carrie, Steph, Barb, Chalyce, and Tami
(Can you see Hannah peeking from the tree!!!)

We had a wonderful time with wonderful friends!

PS: Jacob lost his first tooth at the park. He was so excited!!!!

Patio fun!

We love our new patio. Rich finished building the stairs. He did a wonderful job!!! We are enjoying dinner here.

Funny Kids

I took some funny pictures of the kids.
Hannah and Logan. He likes to pose for pictures now!
Trampoline fun!
Logan loves the outdoors!

Here he is posing again! I love his grin!

The boys wanted to stand by the door. I think I'll start calling it the picture door. If you haven't notice, most pictures are taken right there!!! Don't you love their wild hair!?

The boys and their new trick. It's almost as if they are trying to escape under the gate. Alex is almost skinny enough to do it! Logan just thinks he is funny.
